Quotations
Upon receipt of the initial client contact we will arrange an appointment for one of our experienced design surveyors to meet at a clients home. The purpose of this initial meeting will be to carry out a brief survey of the property and ask a series of questions recording the type of basement the client requires.We will offer ideas and suggestions to make best use of the space and provide information regarding the position of the proposed staircase and any changes that might be required to the existing ground floor area. This information will enable the client to properly assess the merits of the scheme.
Structural Engineer
We shall prepare a full set of structural engineering calculations and associated designs for submission to the Local Authority Buildings Control and Local Authority Structural Engineers Section. We will ensure that the structural engineers calculation receive approval and that a copy of this approval certificate is provided to the client.
Structural Design Element
The structural design of the basement will be undertaken by qualified structural engineers with many years of experience in basement construction ensuring that economic and practical design solutions are adopted for all projects. All forms of construction are considered of the design of each scheme, which could include piled foundations, underpinning, and retaining walls. Close liaison with all members of our team with careful sequencing and methodology is essential to the success of our projects
